Smartwatch and 100 euros

Blood donors frank schopf, mechthild fischer and nina hadidi had a lot of luck at the recent blood drive at the lichtenfels vocational school. There, they not only donated their blood for people in need, but also took part in the blood donation raffle of the BRK district association in lichtenfels.

Now the prizes were handed over to the lucky winners at the BRK center in lichtenfels. Frank schopf from lichtenfels has been a regular blood donor for many years. After an accident in which he seriously injured his shoulder, he became a blood donor. "Sometimes it takes something to make people realize the necessity of donating blood. Since my injury, i don’t really miss any more blood donation appointments", frank schopf describes his very personal path to donating blood.

The teacher-to-be mechthild fischer from schwurbitz took a different route. She was "persuaded" to do the good deed by her friend nina hadidi, who herself has been a regular blood donor for many years. At the special appointment at the vocational school in lichtenfels, mechthild fischer accompanied her friend for the first time to donate blood. The presentation of the prizes was done by the stv. BRK district chairwoman rosemarie gohring, the stv. BRK district manager stephen bauersachs and the area representative of the blood donation service dieter popp. Frank schopf explained that he had never won anything before and would therefore be particularly pleased with his prize – a modern smartwatch. Mechthild fischer shared her prize – a 100-euro voucher – with her friend nina
